355 down, 10 to go

I really enjoyed a meeting today: being re-inspired, meeting incredibly prayerful supporters, discovering same pageness, chatting about anything and everything on the train with friends and colleagues and a well-timed Tangle Twister.  Can’t beat it.

I wish I could say that I loved getting my hair cut (as I usually do), but turns out the new salon round the corner is run by the scissor happy Stylist that used to cut my hair at uni.  First and last time I go there!

A spoil-yourself lunch with RW followed by a coffee with two great people I know through the Relay Conferences in England.  I love people seeing and experiencing my places and appreciating them, so it was great to see them and share time with them.

Pottering around Ikea with Mumsie and eating mini Dime/Daim bars for supper.

A whole day spent training Small Group Leaders.  I think my favourite part was talking about Christian Community and the anticipation of whether we’ll do a good job of it together.  I also enjoyed articulating some truths about the Bible and seeing my Relay Worker get all excited about the stuff too!

As much as I loved the day, was grateful for not being too sick to do it and loved getting to know them all better, I think the best part was an evening spent with Lovely Housemate #2 watching a cheesy film and eating pizza and salad.  Yum yum…

Meeting this year’s new Small Group Leaders, but also leaving them to go home to bed!

A knock on the window of my office scared the tiddlywinks outta me, but I loved who it was, showing them my ‘new improved workspace’ and seeing them at homegroup.

The return to the dreaded Cardio-Kick exercise class.  I know that exercise makes me feel good afterwards, but its the anticipation of the pain that soooo puts me off!!!

A random CS Lewis Bus Tour in Belfast.  GReat day out (eventually).  One moment I particularly remember savouring was just seeing this one oak leaf with such clarity and lucidity and just being overwhelmed by its beauty.

A good chat over great cake and lots of tea with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while.

Feeling overwhelmed with aliveness.

Crazily I loved feeling absolutely KNACKERED today, because it was for a very good reason.  Cleaning and moving furniture and beginning to feel like this great big new house is finally becoming ‘home’.  Also just that general lazy-day Saturday feeling, chatting with a new neighbour but old (as in known for a while, not aged!) friend.

Met with a student today and really, really enjoyed chatting with him, encouraging him and being encouraged by the potential he has to be a kick-ass leader in God’s strength.

Ahhhhh…. A night I can spend in front of the telly updating my 365!  I’m thankful that its coming up to the time where I regain a little bit more normalcy in my routine.

Right now I’m gonna go make a cup of tea and I can tell its gonna be one of those moments where you’re soooooo glad to sit down with a steaming mug in your hand!
